Dear CAMP JERSEY Parents and Campers,

Thank you for registering for CAMP JERSEY! We are excited for our two-week session and hope that it is a great learning experience. We’ve worked hard to ensure the best in both program and teaching and hope you enjoy yourself for the short 30 hours we are together. Listed below are a couple of frequently asked questions about Camp Jersey as well as instructions for a safe and fun experience.

Arrival Procedure—Camp drop-off will be at the Stage door entrance to the Aronoff Center (7th Street between Walnut and Main). There will be a counselor there at 9:15 to escort the campers from the car to the door to sign in. If you arrive before 9:15 please wait outside of the security lobby. If you are later than 9:30 please escort your camper into the stage door. We will be called and your camper will then be escorted.

**The “Drop off/Pick up” area is for drivers who will not be getting out of their vehicles. If you need to get out of your vehicle to escort your camper to the door, please find somewhere to park that is not the area in front of the stage door. We need to keep that space open for moving traffic on 7th Street and want a safe location for campers to be dropped off and picked up.**

Snack—Please bring water to camp as well as a small snack. Please do NOT bring a snack with nuts. Some of our campers are allergic. Restrooms and changing areas are provided.

Clothing Requirements—Campers should wear something they are able to dance/move in as well as appropriate dance footwear (tennis shoes or dance shoes).

Dismissal Procedure—Campers can be picked up at 12:30 at the stage door. They will be escorted upstairs at the same time and a counselor will be present to make sure they arrive safely to your car. Please let us know if your camper will be leaving early or if someone else will be picking them up. They will be escorted at the appropriate time to the stage door by a counselor for pick-up.

Final Showcase—Will be held in the 5/3 Bank Theater at 11:00 AM on the final Friday.

Cell Phones—Because the rehearsal hall is in the basement of the theatre, cell phone reception is sporadic. If you have an emergency and need to contact a Camp Jersey staff member during camp hours, please call Kelly at 609-617-2402 or the Stage Door at 513-977-4128 (please specifically ask for someone with Camp Jersey in the Rehearsal Hall).
